Minor things that piss you off/you fear during gameplay.

first time playing, got a bit too high level wise at the beginning of the game (drawing takes a lot of time;; ), had NO clue where to get remedies, ran across a glacial eye, Quistis got petrified, I yelled "OH S***!!!" and instantly ran.

I didn't know they would petrify me once I got to certain level, my boyfriend conveniently forgot to mention this and it wouldn't be the first time a friend left out important details.

like my friend, who shall remain nameless, told me to leave the person behind in FF7 the first time I played it. 3 things wrong with that: 1. it was Tifa 2. the door locked 3. everything went boom! to this day I'm the only one I/they know who died that early in the game do to a noobs mistake I didn't want to make but was urged to do so by someone who beat the game several times.

moral of story: Peer pressure sucks!!! ><

I was trying to get the Tonberry King but I got sick of fighting the Tonberries. So I am making my people stronger trying to find strange items that are like impossible to get.

but it doesn't matter really cus I already beat the game and I have it saved on disc 4 if I wanna play...

I can´t stand that Zone and Watts they are so stupid.
One of them calls everyone sir and is pretty dumb and the other is always ahhhh...you know.
Plus when you go to the white SeeD ship and you tell Zone that Rinoa is knocked out cold and he calls you a lot of happy names, at that time it appeared that he was gonna fight Squall, and i just thought to myself go on make my day you idiot i´ll kick your farting ass.

Here's a trick that might help.

Get Irvine to have high hit rate as Cactuars have high evasion.Then,get his HP down to critical so that you can access limit breaks easier than having to cast Aura and wait another turn.Then,when you run across three or four Cacvtuars,JUST SHOOT THEIR ASSES WITH FLAME SHOT OR SCATTER SHOT!!!!!!

I LOVED Jumbo Cactuar!!! That's one of my favorite FF boss fights!

I hated how all of the towns were sealed after you go to the LP! I'd like to be able to go to my game after I beat it and go to some towns.
Once when I was at Ulti's castle before I unlocked Resurrection Phoenix kept coming and missing over and over until the thing died. Then I got game over, but I think I've said this already.
As for cactuars running away, I noticed that a high Luck stat helps a lot. I decided once to use a cheat and make Squall's luck all the way up to 255 and that's all I noticed really.

well i still remember it as tho it were yesterday... my very first trip to the woderful world of ffviii and i had just saved rinoa and cleared the ragnarok out and decided to go to TICTH (not knowing what i was doing and i got into a fight with a malboro... i thought hey hey new monsters.... that is untill he did bad breath... panic begins to set in squall dies... rinoa dies... zell recovers and immidiatly start to run, malboro does that spitting move and misses twice... zell still running he does BB once more... i die.... game loads and im in space again.... in true ffviii stile... RAGE!! lol

Once I spent my entire spring break playing FFVIII through the first time. I got to the end of disc two and got a little stuck, so I went through a new game because I wanted to see something and I overwrote my old one. I was very angry, and proceded through with my new game, then later my little brother wanted to play. Instead of taking my memory card out and replacing it with his, he just stuck his in slot 2, but I didn't realize it. I saved the game for him because he had to take out the trash...and over wrote my game. Ever since then I save several files when playing long RPGs. (I should add that I didn't quite get the junction thing down until the third file.)
