Default The furthest you've ever been from home?

This Tuesday, I'm flying out to New York for a few days. It's something that I've been looking forward to for months (or years, if you count a childish desire to drop a penny off the Empire State Building). It's also the furthest I've ever been from my home in London, and the first time I've ever set foot on another continent, so it's a kind of milestone for me, I suppose. It's really weird to think that once I set foot in the US, every step Westwards is a step further from home than I've ever been before. For some reason, it almost feels like an adventure, albeit an adventure with regular stops for cappucino.

Anyway, enough rambling. Time for the actual question: What's the furthest you've ever been from home?

I'm not sure what's the furthest as I'm terrible with geography, but I've been to Cyprus, Crete, Tunisia & Egypt.

Well, since I have two homes (Denmark and the Philippines) I've traveled a lot between the two. The two countries are pretty much as far away from each other as possible.

There are chemicals to digest that can take you further away from home than Dorothy can dream of.

I've lived all over Australia, I've had lots of different homes. But everywhere I've been the furthest I've gone is Western Australia as from Tasmania, Queensland and Victoria the furthest you can go is the other side of the country xD And from Western Australia, the furthest would be Tasmania.

Enjoy NYC! NYC is so awesomesauce, you'll love it.

Italy would be the farthest I've been from home. I was there for two weeks.
