Thread: Video Converter?

  1. #1

    Default Video Converter?

Does anyone know where I can find some free software that allows me to convert mpeg1 to an avi format? (preferably one that doesn't leave a water mark or convert only 70% of the file like my current one does)

Try virtualdub or virtualdubmod Don't forget to set audio and video compression though, or you'll end up with a multi-GB file

Apparently my files were in MPEG2 format an VirtualDub wouldn't load them, so I tried the mod. It works, but the result jumps a lot. It's probably me not knowing how to set it up right, which I'll experiment on. Thanks for the sugestions Though advice for anything else would be appreciated as well.
