Kadaj, leader of a musical

Everytime I watch FFVII: AC I find the part that Kadaj calls the children down from the trees strangely like a musical.. like I can just imagine the children and him bursting out into song and dance..

Perhaps it's his whimsical hand twirl.. or maybe it's similar to some musical I've seen before.. do any of you get this feeling too?
