darn, I was gonna guess the 30GP guy too.
I was playing FFVII at the underwater reactor & before you go onboard the sub,
Cloud does say ''Hmm...'' but you get 2 choices to make; either defeat the soldiers & take them prisoner.
Now this is just a guess, is this the ''Hmm'' you're looking for & please don't remind me about a gamescript.

As I said, this is not part of the storyline, that was, :P this one is in the gold saucer, but only at a certain point in the game

no, you all are getting so hyper over this, The person I'm on about says "Hmm..." in that exact context, not hmm not hmm.. Hmm... This person says this then says other things along side it, BUT the Hmm... is in it's own window. It's not part of the storyline so look for it.
