Purchasing FF 8

I played it a long time ago when a good friend let me borrow the game. Is it still worth buying?

Yeah, but if you're after the PC version you've got your work cut out for you. The PSX version will be slightly easier (I'm guessing it's no longer in print, but there's a whole boatload of copies floating about). If in doubt EBay brudda.

I don't really like playing games on the PC.

If you haven't played it in a while, then I TOTALLY recommend that you get it!!! :grinpink: That was THE BEST game I've ever played!!!

chaos: Definetly worth it. I suggest trying out the other FF's too, though, if you haven't.

yes, though i wouldn't suggest the PC version if you can get it on the playstation. it gets really glitchy.

This and FFX were my favorites so they are totally worth buying!

The only other FF games I would get are FF 7 and FF 9.

Sure get 7, 8 and 9. They're all different so you might find something you like in one of them. Enjoy!

FF8 is denfiitely worth buying, but probably not the best FF to start with. It has a good story and stunning music, although the characters are less...interesting.

The PSX version is all over the place near me, the mall downtown has second hand copies for 10$ and this independent store has unused/new copies for 25$.

They've also got Vagrant Story
