Do I earn anything special from a high, initial SeeD Rank Report?

I usually try getting as high ranks as possible during the exam; however, I'm starting to become pretty fed up with fighting 80 enemies every time, mostly because I never liked keeping track on how many I actually beat ("did I really beat 80 of 'em now? What if I miscalculated?" and so on :rolleyes2).

My simple question: is it really WORTH the trouble?
The only benefits I see in the whole mess is getting a little higher SeeD Rank right away, but I never thought that was really worth it.
