If you kills somebody you can just blame it on your other personality.
I'm sane in the true sense of the word.
But if the personalities are all in one body then the whole person is convicted. I'm just insane as in violently insane, I like the bad things like death, murder and err FIRE! OH YEAH I LOVE FIRE! I may not have split personality yet but I'm my whole mind is a giant space full of madness.

But if he were to murder someone an blame it on one of his other personalities, he wouldn't go to prison, he'd go to a mental institution.
Your not convicted, your just put into a mental institution, bide your time, claim to be cured, then your released ready to reek havoc again, rinse and repeat.
