It's the name of the protagonist I came up with in a book I wrote in sixth grade.

I used "Link" in videogames for years, but I got tired of that and wanted something original, so I decided to make it my internet persona. Too bad it's fairly common, though obviously not for the same reason I use it.

Ouch! doesn't really need much of an explanation. My other name, Zaphier, which I switch to from time to time, is debatable, though.

Za from my first name? Ph from one of my middle names? Ier from my last name? Actually, it's just something my friend came up with in sixth grade when I was going to start playing EQ (I never did, thank God). I don't know who came up with the other explanation, but I kind of like it.
