chaos: Well, I like wrestlers based on their skill/micwork/charisma. I have tons of favorites though.

Albedo: Our top picks would be: Randy Orton, Edge, Mick Foley, who I adore absolutely because his many experiences with blood, thumbtacks, and barbwire. *laughs maniacally*

John Cena is the man and so is Randy Orton and once upon a time they were tag team partners when they were nobodys. But my favs gotta be Kurt Angle and the Rock. And an honorable mention goes to the hurricane...

    Wrestling based:

    Kurt Angle
    Chris Benoit
    RVD
    HHH
    Ric Flair
    Shelton Benjamin
    Matt Hardy

    Simply because I like them:
    Big Show
    Kane
    John Cena
    Mick Foley

My lists quite outdated because I haven't been able to watch regularly for a long time> Basically, give me a match with any of the above wrestlers competing against each other and I'll enjoy it. For a great wrestling match, however, i'd take Angle vs Benoit every time. Rumble 2001, I think? When those two were against each other? Maybe 2002? Was an Awesome match. Angle/HHH at the rumble a while back was amazing also.

chaos: How could I forget Benoit and Angle? I was also a fan of Guerrero (RIP).

Rubedo: Hey, Kyono, have you seen the Cage Match between the two? The pinnacle of their bout, IMO.

I can vaguely recall it, but i'm not sure. It's been a while, as I said. But then, the reason the match i'm thinking of is so special is because it was just a normal match. While of course I enjoy pretty much all of the various match types (I say pretty much..."Kennel from Hell" lol), the staple of the business is of course the one on one, and to make a normal one on one match memorable it has to be extremely good, and that match was one of the best i've ever seen.

Kurt deserves a mention for this for making me laugh more than any other wrestler ever has when he attempted to buttrape the Big Show/Eddie Guerrero/Shawn Michaels on various PPV's. (Attempting German Suplex from the ring apron to the floor, other guy holding the ropes and Kurt leaning back and thrusting up...looks highly suspect and highly amusing.)

chaos: Their Wrestlemania fight was pretty good too, but the ending was a little anti-climatic.

Rubedo: Kennel from Hell wasn't actually that bad. Although the whole fued was no wrestling and all humour.

chaos: Indeed, I find Kurt Angle hilarious. I like him the best as a cocky, sort of idiotic nerd. I really don't like the "Wrestling Machine" moniker, and that whole "intensity" thing he's got going.

I've no idea what this wrestling machine thing is, not having watched it for some time. I still remember him as the geek from when he first joined, with his three I's and "it's true, it's true." his mock interview with the Rock where he faked it using two old interviews of the Rocks was classic, too. Though, for funny, I don't think you can go much further than The Rock and Stone Cold. I think the funniest wrestling spot I ever saw was Austin/Booker T in the supermarket. and The Rocks heel promo's are the best ever. Him and the Hurricane were absolute classic.

Aaah, why is wrestling so awesome. I'm glad I can appreciate it for what it is, it'd suck to be one of those "OMFGZ WRASSLING IS THE FAKZ0RZ!11!1!"

Trowa: Kurt's best fued would definetly have to be with Austin. Great buildup, along with an unpredictable heel turn which fit in with other storylines as well. And two magnificent matches.

Rubedo: His psychology was at best too. The last great Kurt match (IMO) was his bout with the Undertaker. I had doubts, but man, it was great.
