I don't like actually getting to sleep, and I always delay it for aslong as I can. But in the morning, Im like a zombie, on weekends I just snooze until 1pm.

Well, in college, there are three fundamentals:
Sleep, Social, and Academics.
However, you must sacrifice one in order to keep the other two well kept up. Now... Personally, I sacrifice sleep (getting anywhere from 2-5 hours of sleep a night) and I run fine. My Grades are above a 3.0 and my socialability is very good. Now, sometimes, I switch sleep and social, simply if I feel anti-social and/or my body is just run down after a couple weeks of few sleep.
So, it really depends on what you value.
If I sleep on a problem I've usually solved it by the morning.
I have a strict body clock it seems, so I always wake up around the same time most mornings. If i'm up late the night before then I have a bad morning the next day.
I didn't read every post, so I don't know if this has been mentioned yet. I saw it on an episode of the '80s t.v. show, Moonlighting (you know where Bruce Willis got his start...)Originally Posted by Omnislash07
This guy on the show (I think he was a corporate big shot) had been trained by hypnosis to fall asleep for 10 mins. when his watch alarm went off once each hour. This way he only slept 4hrs. each day, and supposedly could function normally when awake. Can't say for sure if this really would work, but it was hilarious when he just dropped into a deep sleep right in the middle of his conversation with Bruce Willis.![]()
Anarcho-syndicalism is a way of preserving freedom...
Sleep is a waste of time, sadly necesary, but still a waste.
I got 15 hours of sleep last night... and now I feel great.
So no, I'd say it isn't a waste.
No. Sleep is needed so therefore it isn't wasted. It's time that's wasted. There wouldn't be a need to not want more time and lack sleep if you spent the hours wisely. That made sense in my head...
I love to sleep. Dreams are just awesome (especially if you can remember them!^_^)
