I don't think so. MMO's should offer more than one dimension of game play. A MO multiplayer online game would be fine - but trying to host a large variety of people on one platform may be hard.

I don't think it'd work. The premise can't support the idea. There's no quests and very very few NPCs. You'd have thousands of people running around a castle whacking stuff. What fun..

I can't quite see how a MMORPG would work, but I could see some sort of multiplayer/co-op working in a Castlevania game.

No this is a very bad idea.
That's a pretty good idea in my opinion. Just as long as it meets the following:
A. The battle system isn't too slow like.
B. Rather than stat collecting, the game focusses more on skillz.
C. Cool boss fights that are cool.
D. Dracula's castle is big enough to host a really large amount of Belmonts.
