i was trying to give advice. its important to listen to the storyline and not to skip text and its also a good idea to play the first game before the second one. thats pretty much what my post said.

Maybe Tidus never left Besaid. When he jumped off the airship, he just thought he saw his father, but really, he didn't. And jumping off a ship in the middle of nowhere will probably land you in the ocean...

Blitzball players don't breath underwater, they can just hold their breath for a very very long time, and hold it against the strain of being knocked around.

What people mean when they say "Play FFX" is that when you finish the game after the credits you see Tidus swimming up through the water. This just-so-happens to be a glimpse as to his return 2 years later.

Im also gonna go with Eiko Guy's guess that Yuna was "going home" so thats why he appeared in that part of the water - so they could walk together like the fayth said.

hey ive played and finished ffx2 twice and i dnt understand what yo0h mean...wasnt the end where gippal, nooj and baralai make that speech and yuna sez "this is my story.. i'll make it a good 1" ... ?

and isnt it lyk something about ffx2 lyk that tidus never existed.. and he was just a dream of the fayth?

and didnt he first wake up in the water in besaid coz sin got him?

It makes perfect sense for him to be underwater ( water i used symbolically throughout x) but you can plainly see where the logic is if you play x, sin took him to zanarkand in water (actually workd out really well for him, he met yuna), he plays blitz, jecht played blitz (the only time tidus was kind of proud of his father), you see him underwater at the end of x when he "dies". water is his calm!

I guess you didn't hit the "X" butten right before Yuna left the Farplane and then said, "yes" to the faith.

I understand why playing FF X would help.
Tidus woke up in Besaid in the begining of the game.

Also, Yuna was already heading to Besaid in the first place. They put him there so Yuna would see him.


Also...you usually play the first game BEFORE the second one!!!

Nope, but there are pre-requisits.

Lets say there are 3 endings, normal, good and perfect.

What you saw was the normal ending where he appears and Yuna says he was with her all along and she loves him.

For the good ending you have to talk to Maechen in Chapter 3 in Guadosalam, then at the end of the chapter press X in the farplane repeatedly till Yuna chases the golden figure over a bridge of light. Then in Chapter 5 get an EP Com. in Besaid and also in Luca (do the funny moogle chase). Then and only then will the fayth appear upon pressing X in the farplane after the final battle and give you the option to see 'him' again.

Perfect ending requires you to get 100% aswell as conditions for good ending.
