What was the first thing you remember?

Hello everyone, you may not know me for I just joined a short while ago and I haven't had a computer but I exist. So you may choose to ignore me but that is your choice. Introductions aside,

Ok this thread is about the first thing you remember. You just write a short story about the first thing you can remember.

My story:

I was about 5 and my best friend's cat just had a litter and I got one of the kittens and called it Tiger but the next day he ran away and got hit by a car. I was sad. Then I got a new kitten and I had him for 6 years.

Shouldn't this be moved? My story is... When I was wee, I had a dream that my mom locked me in the attic forever so that I would die. I'm not joking.

all quoting aside, the first thing I remember is my 3rd b-day. I had a smurf airplane thing on my cake, and my sister stole it. I got he-man and thundercat stuff cause it was my favorite. I got clothes, which were stupid because...well it WAS the 80's. and my mom was alive.

One of the first memories I remember? I don't remember exactly how this happened, but I remember kicking a really sick little kitten by a lake while I was on vacation with my folks in Europe. It was just a tiny little kitten, and it was really sick and could barely paw its way across the dirt embankment surrounding the outside of our hotel. For some reason, I just kept kicking it and kicking it and kicking it...and it was barely resisting me because it was so sick. All it was doing was letting out short, helpless little meow's while its snow white coat was turned brown and black in the dirt. I kicked it a few more times and finally my sister (who was about 2 at the time) ran out of the hotel and started crying when she saw me kicking the kitten, lol . And then I just stopped and didn't really know what to think.

That's probably the first thing I ever remember from my life. Not a very good memory, is it?
