Good fights

I'm playing FFVII through for the first time and am on Disc 2, just past the part where Tifa and Cloud fall into the lifestream etc. I need to level up now and am getting bored with fighting the monsters around Wutai. I don't know where all the decent fights are. At Wutai I'm getting between 1000-1500 EXP and around 1000 gil each time. That's cool, but I am sick of fighting the same monsters over and over again. I need a challenge.

Please tell me where some decent fights are! Thanks.

You don't need to level up. In fact, you don't need to play FFVII at all. Try FFV instead, it's so awesome

In terms of leveling up, the forests around Mideel are one of the best, until the Northern Crater becomes available.

meh... ive found the sunken ship was a good place to level up quickly depending on level your at now.. tehe

I found the best place was the black materia corridor in temple of the ancients until you can't go there anymore.

Mideel area in the forest or the sunken Gelenka, also in the Gelenka you can morph the enemies is to sources i.e. power sources.

omg are u smurfin kidding me?!?!? Goto that road that leads to the Forgotten Capital the place with the log going across the cliff thing thing. Lvl there u get 2000+EXP and 200+AP. Also with Clouds Apocalypse sword u get atleast 600AP per fight here. Lvl there for a day or two and You'll be passed lvl 60 and have a few mastered materia
