Well, I mean, I can understand - I'd sure love a wellspring of endless Mountain Dew - but when you could have so much more than a lot of a tasty liquid, it seems rather... strange to ask for just that. Like, you save the Prez's life, and don't ask for a medal or a monetary reward, just for a ham and cheese sammich. Tasty, sure, but... small.
