I like alot of the cultural references in Excel Saga. Aliens (the movie), New York and gangsters, Mad Max, Gundam, immigrants... They were all tons of fun to spot.
Most of the time, it's hilarious. The rest of the time, it's just simply crazy and/or disturbing.
