i just bought ff xi but i cant play 1st i cant put dsl on my house because my line canot saport it 2ed i dont have credid card or i cant buy so i need your opinion im realy desperate /cry

Probably county. Still some dark holes around here with poor dsl availability.

You could try high-speed satellite internet. It doesn't really matter much where you live if you get that. It's slightly on the pricey side, mind you.

It's a sad solution in the year 2006, although Final Fantasy XI was created to run smoothly on a 56k connection. Back in October of 2003 when I first began playing Final Fantasy XI I was using a 56k connection and I played for a few months on it without problems. A solution to your credit card problem is to find a store or bank that sells VISA giftcards or gamecards, gamecards are made specifically for MMORPG payments and the giftcards can be used just like a credit card until they are expired, at which case you'll have to buy another one and switch the payment method to that gift card number and expiration date. Good luck, it's a game well worth the extra effort.

I know plenty of people who play the game on regular dialup connection. And if you can't get a hold of a credit card, you could try using epassporte which allows you to transfer funds directly from a bank account.
