I would go to the past and see the "true" gods, like Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Sly and the Family Stone, Jimi Hendrix playing the Star Spangled Banner, Carlos Santana, Janis Joplin, The Who, The Beatles, and many more!

Thats a tempting reason to go back to the past. Those are most of my favorite bands and artists

Xeromus_X had a good point about the paradox you create when traveling to the past. I would pick the future because that way I don't risk "erasing" myself or anything important. The smallest change you make in the past would have extreme consequences in the present. But, everybody knows that, sorry.

By the way, in Back to the Future, I believe the term they used was Gigawatt (1,000,000,000 watts) and it was pronounced 'Jig'awatt.

if i could time travel i would have to keep going back and forth and keep winning the lottery hehe so i would be super rich
