    Default Boss Help.

All right, I'm facing Xaldin. Both times I've gotten him down to his last health bar, but Mickey is just about worthless for me besides giving me two extra chances.

Unfortunately, he's too fast and it's impossible to even give myself a chance to heal. Any tips?

Edit: And of course, the next time I try I beat him. It's essentially just locking on and pounding the X and Triangle buttons simultaneously.

Okay, sorry to double post, but I need more help.

This is on the boss on the second trip to Port Royal. The one with the coins. It is quite impossible to EVER get all of the coins from him. I've gotten even with him as far as coins go one time. I understand what to do, but it doesn't seem possible to do it. I can only cast four magics before my meter runs out.

I am going to spoiler my reply, since it involves KHII bosses. I'd suggest putting spoilers on the thread title too.

(SPOILER)Ok, on both of these, Cure and Reaction abilities are your best friends. Unlike most Reaction abilities, you can use "Learn" multiple times to collect multiple instances of the "Jump" ability. Each time Xaldin uses his spears to attack you, rapidly press the Triangle button. Since he usually attacks several at a time, you can collect a vast number of Jumps. While using your Jumps, you can inflict damage and it is difficult (if not impossible) for him to hurt you while you're Jumping. Also, don't forget about your forms. Use whichever is the highest level, since the larger your Form gauge, the longer you can stay in the form. Even Anti-Form is useful, since you get a large speed boost from it.

As for the Grim Reaper, the key is to catch him with the Reaction ability "Hinder" when he goes to use the suction vortex on the coins, and to follow it up with the "Booty Buster", which takes the weapon you stole from the Grim Reaper (you steal it when you use "Hinder"), and flings it back at the Grim Reaper, knocking out around 300 Coins. Also, if you have the Draw ability, you can use it to get the Coins from further away. You can equip the Keyblade you got from Captain Jack last time you were here to boost the effect. Other than that, just heal and beat the crud out of him when he's low on coins.

My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.

He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.

I ended up beating him myself after about half an hour, but I didn't have a clue about the reaction command for the Grim Reaper. I was just using Blizzard, Thunder, Blizzard, swiping up the coins and then running until my MP was restored. But thanks.
