I hate final fantasy VIII
I know that some pinheads administrators will close this,but I want to say this.
The reason is the general concept of it.
I like the intro and Selphie ,and that is all.
The gameplay is confusing.
The whole idea of the game does not make me want to carry on wasting my time on it.
All characters except Selphie are from bad to wanting-me-to-smash-them-to-smithereens.
What the smurf?
They put Greek letters with no meaning,just to have Greek letters on the backround.

I don't like Selphie, she doesn't rotate when I use scan.

Zidane: *cranks knuckles* FFVIII is good, don't get me wrong, but I didn't care for the junction system. Or the name of the summons Guardian Force or GF, it didn't have agood sound to it. And as I've said many time, I'm fine with SquallxRinoa, but there's alot about that relationship that wasn't believable to me. Rinoa is hitting on Squall, Squall rejects her alot with his "Whatever..." additude, it would have made more sense to have Squall at least acknowledge Rinoa's advances and have Squall make a few advances as well before they embrace. I didn't care for Selphie, Selphie has a Rikku-eqse personality and I've never cared for that.

FINAL FANTASY VIII is the best game I ever played.I'm just gonna leave it at that before I get really nasty at people...
Zidane: I find that odd, most fans of a game usually attempt to denounce the complaints of a game, when one posts a hate thread about FFIX, I defend the game and provide denouncements towards any and all complaints, it makes for a healthy thread of enlighten debate.

final fantasy VIII is a great game! I admit that some parts were confusing and sometimes u just want to skip the boring parts, but alot of other game are like this too.

Zidane: Exactly, FFVIII is not a bad game but I found the battle system to have a lot of to be desired myself. I didn't like the drawing system, I prefer the MP systems over drawing magics from drawing points.
I think every game has its goods and its bad qualities. For me FFVIII was a very good game, although some things could've been better. But that also counts for FFVII, FFIX,...... and other non-FF games....
Like in FF X-2 I really hated Yuna (I never liked her anyway :-d), and I also think that certain GF's in VII are "like so lame"....
But I do think this could prove to be a very interesting topic
