squall. hes just a massive pile of emotions and personality. i dont understand all of these Xu lovers. she only has about 5 lines in the game and isnt in the game long enough to get a very good idea about her personality. if someone could just tell me why they like Xu more than everyone else i might know why so many people like her.

Sure. I wouldn't call Xu a main character, but it's not just the lines-the things she does, and the things she says (she does get more than five lines, and a lot of it is body language) does seem to me to at least present /a/ personality--though some of it's up to interpretation. And I like that, at least, what I see--especially since it's a good way that the game shows that people have relationships /outside/ the main party, since she's obviously a good friend to Quistis.

I went with Rinoa though I did like Squall, Laguna, Julia, and Edea a lot too ^^ Rinoa just seemed a great girl in my opinion and I liked her personality bunches <3

This was really close for me cuz I LOVE Squall, Laguna, Rinoa, and Zell sooo much!!! But I'm gonna have to vote for Squall because he was the one who got me started on Final Fantasy.
