'Nunchucks' are really 'Nunchaku', but meh.
Yeah, I love Monks. It all comes down to the point where I want to know if I want to use Haste (use a Thief->Ninja) or have another power fighter on my team.
Yeah, give a Master the 'Power Glove' or whatever it is that casts Sabre and Haste 'em. Delicious.

Monks are a very bad charator for beginners.
They are also one of the worst charators to start out with.
But if you use one all the way tell the end of the game you will see that there attack slowly starts takeing of more and more and more and more and more untill your hitting 10 times and killing almost every moster in one hit with no wepon.
and now for the list of why the monk is the best.
1. they take of the most damage at after leveling them up
2. they require no wepons and little armor, and becuase of that they can store armor and wepons for your other pepole who use 4 armor slots.
3. They hit 8 to 10 times which means that they almost NEVER miss if you attack someone you are going to hit them.
4. There HP incresses a bunch as you level them up
5. They are sexy.
I used to hate the monk untill I acctually used one. Now I never play without one. I have passed the game at least a hundred times, started playing it when I was 8 and still playing it now

After about Level 6 they need no armor. They really need nothing other than in battle items-item effects.
I have one who's better off then equiping anything, Protect Rings, Bracelets, etc.
And going through the game with 4 is simply put 'cake'.
