FFX-2 is by FAR the easiest one, based on plot battles only. Umm, Alchemist, anyone? The optional dungeons BARELY make it worth playing through, but more people will be more upset based on the fact that the optional dungeon isn't difficult, but is rigged.

Rigged == random damages over 10k, without anyway to guard, evade, or get enough HP to withstand without compromising your attack, which you need to actually defeat the enemies that DO that much damage.

FFVII is marginally harder, but with KotR, all == dead. For me, I found it hard, but only because I missed the Life Materia, and never bought Pheonix Downs. If Cloud died, he stayed dead.

FFIV (FFII, NA), DoS I and II are beyond easy.
X isn't easy because of Seymour Flux and Yunalesca... alone. Even the cutscene right before them, which you can't skip, is designed to make you tired, and rush through without thinking, which == dead.

FFVI is easy and requires little or no effort to splam through the game. If you know all the cheap tricks and such, they don't require much preparation at all.

Zidane: No, FFVII was the second easiest. In order:

FFX - developed summon power to where Bahamut did 99,999 damage with a simple strike, 2 strikes took anything out.
FFVII - Omnislash made key boss fights WAY TOO EASY.
    FFVIII - Lionheart, same deal.
FFIX - developed Zidane's abilities to where in Trance, a simple strike did 9,999 damage so with Auto-Regen on everyone, it was simple to get through boss fights if Zidane was near Trance.

Just need to point out something. Bahamut was nothing compared to Animas attack. Anima boosted up = each one of her punches could do 99,999 HP of damage.

I bitch about the game a lot, mainly for the lack of story and weak characters, but it is still the best of the series out there.
She loves it more then X!

Now that I think about it, 7 was pretty easy. though sometimes i would get stuck in places cuz some of the ways to get out were extremely easy, but you wouldnt expect it. sorry if your confused by what i said.
the ending was a total disapointment for me, seriously. i had level 60 people and beat sephy even through four super novas.

From what I heard mystic quest is the easiest...

I thought IX very easy at the time. But VII is for sure one of the easiest. If you get the righ materia combos, you can easily develop a character with excessive abilities.

I always belived it to be well balanced with hard side quests such as the weapons. With training for hours and getting the mega secrets it does become a little easier, but only nearer the end and any game would if you spend hours leveling.

i don't consider the entire games to be hard, they just hav very dificult points

Why do you imprison your saviour?

I thought 8 was the easiest. You could have 100 demis junctioned on each character before you even left for Timber.

I think X-2 is easy, I was able to beat Vegnagun with 3000-4000 hp on each character.
But each game does have a part where you're pulling hairs out of your head.
