Yeah, that's not a required thing to do, just a sidequest. Get Yuffie, if only to be able to Morph Tonberries into Ribbons and Cactuars into Tetra Elementals.Her Conformer Ultimate Weapon (found in the crashed Gelnika) has some high damage formula related to the enemies level (don't know what exactly), but at any rate, you can easily to 9,999 damage morphing.

And as I just said in the last post, with her Ultimate Weapon Conformer, damage when Morphing is increased to a point where it can do 9,999 at higher levels.
If you sold it though, then it really wouldn't matter anyway.
Just a quick thing if you can't find it the box in the crashed ship with yuffie's weapon in is not visible cos it's in the very far top left corner of the room.
Yay! Using Ultima weapon, and a lot of time, i was able to get a ribbon. That should make my battle square life much easyer.
You might want to try weakening the Tonberries before Morphing them, just a thought.

Thats what i did. I hurt him just enough so that i could morph him the rest of the way. Of course, Since i couldn't sense him, it still took a while.
