This was very weird for me, I can tell you.

OK, when my brother emulated FFI once, the graphics were not of the original FF. They were of FFIII. I do not know where he got it, so don't ask me, but man, that was kinda cool. I wasn't expecting this, about as much as I was expecting a FF remake for the GBA which 2 years before it came out for GBA I wanted Nintendo to port. The only real glitch in the game was the lines, because they were straight lines with swirling lines around them. But this was cool, because not only did the battle sprites look better, so did the overworld sprites. The people, the shops, everything!
Front-wards, back-wards, anyway you see! Such a strange spell to swish-swish-aree! Tceles Nottub B. Swish-swish-aroo!

I've only beaten FFI, but I'm close to beating FFIII for FAMICOM!

    YAY FOR CHOCOBOS!

    DON'T FORGET MOOGLES! :mog:

There's a lot of hacks for FF1 out there. There's some that import graphics from all of the sprite based FF's, even up to FF6 (though in severely limited pallettes).

    Check here for more info.
