"Wonderwall" by Oasis and "I Miss You" by blink-182. Two excellent alternative rock/ punk rock songs with a sublime melancholic introduction before a chorus climax of great vocals and that undeniable punk rock acoustic. Which one do you prefer?

Are Oasis really alternative/punk rock? Not that it affects my decision (which is Wonderwall, easy) but that seems a very odd classification for their music.

Oasis isn't punk rock:rolleyes2 , i'ld call it poprock or Alternative Britpop

Besides, Oasis is without a doubt so much better than Blink 182, so there's not much that must be said about this song contest

I like them both, so it depends on my mood. I Miss You actually has a memory attached to it for me, and I guess right now I'm in the mood for that kind of song rather than Wonderwall. Guess I'm the sole voter for it then. xD I'm not surprised. For actual quality of a song, Wonderwall wins without thinking twice.

Yeah, my bad on that. They are still classified as a type of rock, and many times Britrock is termed as "alternative rock" in the United States. My bad about the punk rock though, .

Anyways, I love both these songs, even though I don't like blink-182 or Oasis too much in general.
