how to get the item from the dog in besaid

help please! im having major trouble with this. she said her dog dug up something yesterday i walked into the crusaders lodge and couldnt talk to either of the dogs.

The Dog is outside I think..if this is the item concerning the second overdrive limit for Valefor, then I should be right. It's the dog thats kinda an orange/brown and white colour, with floppyish ears. Someone add something to this..been a while since I did this..

It SHOULD be near the temple, just near the steps leading up to it. A girl should be stood there too.. >.<;;

I found it in the tent next to Wakka's.

I wonder if the dog moves about..anyway, it is a white and browny patched dog which has the item Im sure of it XD

It does move around, but most of the time, it is outside of the Temple.

After a certain point, talking to the dog will automatically give you the item. I don't know what the condition gate for it is, because I got it without doing anything, but it probably involves getting Yuna's Ultimate Weapon and beating most of the Aeons at Remiem. Or not.

I got it right at the start of the game when you arrive in Besaid. It was outside a tent I think.

In front of the temple, and just to the left of the steps. A brown, scantilly clad woman is there, too.

When I got it, the dog was inside the tent where the weavers are.

it's in the top right hand tent at the start of the game, talk to the dog

at the end of the game, talk to the dogs owner in the same house

you must talk to three ppl (forget who) then the chick who says her dog dug something up. after a bit the dog will be in the tent with the guy using the loom. talk to it and you'll get the other overdrive for valefore

I search for an hour but still don't find it. So, I continue the storyline and come back to defeat Dark Valefor, then I take the overdrive.

this was very easy for me just lok for the dog, not too hard huh, a girl should be with him too.

I talked with 1 girl that sells items and then "talked" with the dog near Wakka's house...
