Vanishing threads
Is it posible for an entire thread to be deleted with no trace if it's so bad that locking it isn't enough? I saw and posted on a thread yesterday and was staking it out to see how the mods would react because someone was advertising a major scam. I stopped paying attention for 5 minutes and it vanished without a trace. My post wasn't recorded in my profile either.

Threads can be entirely deleted, yeah.

It's good that they have a system like that. Some threads are just not meant to be viewed or read by the public.

Maybe its true that some threads disappear into the alternate dimension. You have just witnessed this happen before your own eyes.

We have a "Garbage Forum" with a whole lot of the crap that has been posted at EoFF. It's also possible to completely wipe a thread from the database if we really want to, but we try to avoid that sort of thing for security reasons.

Yeah xD That's one way to put it. "Physically Remove" is the thing that vB calls it when you wipe it from the database.
