Now that I've splurged on a boomerang, the battle go by a lot quicker. Yes, I went back to it, and I think I might actually be into it this time.

yes, the boomerang is INCREDIBALLY useful in this game.
Great game, I really enjoyed it. I lost interested after a while though, due to the obscene amount of levelling time required compared to that of Final Fantasy. And no that doesn't make it harder, it just makes it require more time to complete.
So yes, get it. Its an awesome game.
WICKED-AWESOME SIG.
better than the last game i played, Dragon Warrior VII, possibly related to this. yes, Yuffie hasn't straightened out the bad record:
1) sticking my hand into peoples' satchels.
2) opening closets when backs are turned.
3) finding their hidden treasures in barrels/urns.
4) hm, i haven't tried looking into pottery :evilking: .
it's so vandalizing , and i have to go to church to confess all the fun i just had...

Yes, the previous Dragon Quest games were referred to as "Dragon Warrior" in North America, but now they are called "Dragon Quest". (Although NA didn't get DQ V and VI though.) Many people hated DQ VII because it had graphics of poor quality for a PS1 game, even though it came out near when the PS1 was just released, and was originally planned to be a SNES game.
Yes, burglaring other peoples' houses is strangely exciting and nostalgic.
According to GameFAQs, it came out in Japan in 2000, which is 5 years after the release of the PS1.Originally Posted by Zeromus_X

Got this game around Christmas time or so, and think it is extremely fun. One of the best RPG's in years. The sheer massiveness(if that is a word) of the world in this game is awe-inspiring, you won't be wasting your money.
