Just finished FF7 in a whopping 36h 40m and thought the ending was rather crap. I wanted too see more of cloud and tifa. Did they get together???? Apart from that brill game. Well pleased.

ggod game considering i never played any of the final fantasy ganes before. just left a lot of questions unanswrered. gonna crack on i think now with 8? is it anygood??
Well you can go watch Advent Children, read On the Way to a Smile, and play Dirge of Cerberus (when it's released outside of Japan) to expand on the story for you. Imagine if you had beaten it when it came out and had to wait for all these sequels to come out and answer the questions for you

You need to play them on your own, we cant really tell you if they're good or not, as it's all subjective. I mean, personally I think you should be playing IV and VI, but really just play whatever. Going in order is good, but it doesnt really matter.

They're all individual games. That's why I said going in order isnt neccesary. That's why you can start at VII and not be missing six installments of a story.
The only ones that are connected are X and X-2.
They're individual. But you should probably play them in order so you don't get disappointed by the graphics if you play FFX first. FFX has awesome graphics. Oh, and FFX-2 is the sequel to FFX, but otherwise they're all individual.
