NEED HELP PLEASE
ok im stuck at the bit where u go into the underword and are at the dwarf castle, i can defeat the calbera fine, but i cant beat golbez he totaly kos me every time i try, any tips on how to beat him, cause he gets like 5 attacks in a row and that usualy takes me down

i cant by the time its my turn im basically dead, or dead and if i use life on someone they will be dead next turn anyway

What version are you playing? It might be glitched.
I would recommend that you revive Rosa first of all so that she can help in reviving everybody else. After that keep Kain in the air, and use Bio with Rydia among other strong spells that she has. Have Rosa the primary healer, and switch between healer and attacker with Cecil. I forget who the other person in this battle is, I think it might be Yang, but just do whatever with that guy.
Now if Golbez isn't even letting you go as far as reviving one character, I would suggest leveling or just trying it again until you get lucky and he hits Cecil next turn insted of the person you revived.
ok ill try all that, but he gets far too many attacks in a row he gets like 4 attacks before i can do anything and they all hit like 400
what lvl would u recomend going into this battle? all my chars are like lvl 23

bah they all lvl 25 now and he is still killing me before i can react
I was at level 25 in the Zot Tower. You could defeat it at level 23 I guess. To be able to beat it for sure I'd be at level 27.

If Golbez is too fast for you, you may want to lower your battle speed. That can help a lot. Golbez shouldn't be too hard if you make Cecil and Rydia use Phoenix Downs to revive your fallen party members at the beginning of the battle. With Rosa healing, Kain jumping, Cecil and Yang attacking and Rydia summoning, Golbez should be going down quite quickly.

hurry to kains turn and jump that way he doesnt get hit and you start with kain cecil and rydia i found out on accident
