Listen: FFXII has been out in Japan for a good bit now. This does not mean you are free to post about all its ins and outs without providing a fair disclaimer beforehand. Forbidden topics of mention, depiction, description, and discussion include:
  • ANY creature or character other whom was not already revealed prior to the game's release. This is limited to Vaan, Ashe, Basch, Penelo, Balthier, Fran, Rex, Gramis, Vayne, Larsa, Zalgabas, Belga, Dreys, Gies, Gabras, Belias, Hashmalim, Adrammelech, Ultima, and Cid.
  • ANY story event or battle that was, again, not already revealed in press information. This is limited to Ashe's wedding and Reks's death.
From now on, unmarked spoilers will be punished with a warning. The staff's policy is that we are only obligated to give a single warning before banning someone, and we're going to be treating this offense seriously. If you've been in any trouble with the staff before, an unmarked spoiler could be the end of your stay here; for the majority who have a spotless record, you still don't have many chances. Your peers do not deserve to have the first real Final Fantasy in five years--not to mention a historically unique installment such as FFXII--ruined because of your carelessness.
