can anyone tell me how to defeat emerald and ruby weapon please im stuck on them both

I'll tell you the quick and dirty way to beat them.

Emerald Weapon.

Equip these materias:

1st Character: Knights of The round.
Final Attack + Phoenix
2nd Character: Mime
3rd Character: Mime

Make sure to equip the underwater materia on one of them too.
Don't equip more materias than that. Equipping more materias makes Emerald stronger. If you don't have these materias, then go read a Weapon FAQ on www.gamefaqs.com. You probably only have one Mime, but that's ok, use the 3rd character to do something else powerful, like Bahamut Zero. You should also have all of their limit gauges filled up, just to be very prepared.

Ruby Weapon.

A lot of the same with Emerald, except this guy doesn't get tougher if you equip a lot of materias, so equip all you want. Here's some hints though:

Start the battle with two dead guys. You'll all end up dead if you don't. Definitely have Final Attack + Phoenix on this one.
Cast Hades. It makes his tentacles get the status effect Stop. When they start moving, cast it again. Keep it up until they go away. Then hit Ruby with all of your most powerful attacks.
