Well ummm first of all I'd just like to point out that Zelda isn't under the RPG category... I thought that was pretty obvious. I think any real Zelda fan(Not to mention Nintendo) would agree it's under like an action/adventure genre.

In fact most of them have connections. Like TheUndeadHero said earlier and also OOT and Majora's Mask are also connected and soon Twilight Princess should have some connection to those two although i don't know that's just what they said last year at E3. I can't see how they could be connected since Link turns into a flippin wolf.
