We also need a black guy who isn't deformed (Barret), retarded (Barret), or dies (General Leo). I don't care if he doesn't get a line to talk, or whether he talks in a foreign language, uses a spear or fork and does 9999 damage, or has his Agility/Evade/Accuracy stat jump up to 255/is invincible while in a prison breaking scene.

Just get a black guy in there. Illegal sale/use of drugs can be restricted to the Asian guy, incase anyone is too squeamish to deal with a story that might actually be making a social commentary on stereotypes...

I COMPLETELY agree with Trovbel. I mean a brownish skinned color character like Barilai would kick MAJOR ass. I mean, not Barilai exactly, he looks too much like a wimp, but I mean, a stronger looking, taller version of Barilai or something like that.

And he needs to be kick ass, be normal and funny like everyone else and just fit in nicely, I'd love that so much, and no he DOES NOT have to be the stereotypical black guy. There are PLENTY of other ethnicities with brown skinned men (Latin America, Africa, Middle East, South Asia). It'd be so refreshing and interesting. But he'd have to have badasss clothes not some weird looking crap.:meditate:

You know, it's often the least badass characters that develop the largest contingent of squealing fanboys/girls. Characters like Yuffie, Cloud, Squall, Vivi, Aeris, Rinoa, Selphie, Tidus, Rikku and Yuna are insanely popular. Me? I prefer characters like Steiner.
