I used to have a goatee on my chin (just like James below),
I liked it for a while then I shaved it off.
Some people say I look good clean shaven or with stubble.
I like both looks.
It really depends on the face and style of beard.

I don't mind really. I prefer clean-shaven but it really depends on the persons face. Maybe he suits a 2 metre long beard!

Some guys look ok with stubble (like Johnny Depp) but for my guy I prefer clean shaven all the way. Stubble hurts too much for proper kissing and cuddling.
Smooth is better than hairy.

I've never even considered growing a beard for myself. Chances are, I won't be able to. I can't grow much else than sideburns; I probably never will be able to. My dad is almost 46 and he still can't grow a proper beard.
I'm nearly always full-bearded, and most people think I look better that way.
It depends on the individual, but some guys just suit a beard. Jonathan Frakes, for example.
It seriously depends on the guy. Some guys like RSL and Big D can pull it off. Some guys wouldn't look right with them...
