I wish girls could flush pads/tampons.

I lived with 7 other girls my freshman year and when we started getting our periods at the same time... man the bathroom was not a happy place.

My mind burns.

It's not a cultural thing, it's just the sewage and piping system in Mexico City can't handle wads of paper being flushed, at least when I lived there. By now I'm sure some improvements have been made to the sewage system.

It might be disgusting, but considering all the other disgusting stuff that gets binned, it's not THAT disgusting.
