Alright, I'm at the Lunar Ruins and I ran into a puzzle where you have to "catch" a platinum toad. The problem is, that he casts toad on 2-3 of my characters and then he flees. Anyone know what I should do?

Alright, I'm at the Lunar Ruins and I ran into a puzzle where you have to "catch" a platinum toad. The problem is, that he casts toad on 2-3 of my characters and then he flees. Anyone know what I should do?
Y'mean your party isn't Ribbon-ified at that point?Well, you would normally use power attacks really fast, like Holy and Bahamut. That's what I do...well, I guess everyone doesn't like maxing out their party. Well...I'm sorry, I don't really know what to say.
If you Ribbon-ify your party, statuses shouldn't be a problem. I guess using a fast attacker like Edge would work. Or, you could just warp out of the Ruins and go through them again.
Hehe I figured out I needed to put them all on Toad Status beforehand and then he would use Toad returning my chars to normal status and bashed him to oblivion ^^
Oh, well that works too.Still, you should definitely have five Ribbons by now.
