Why is it that people don't like much seafood?

Anyways, I wuv seafood!! At first, it looks really really weird and really really ugly and it smells very disgusting, especially when raw or in the markets (That I do agree very much!!) But when they're cooked in different styles, whew! They smell sOOoOOo great!! I like the Pinoy styles, though (Sinigang, whatever... )

I eat certain fishes, crabs (Though the shells seem soo hard to break or crack since they have to go away so you can eat the meat or something) and shrimps!!! Man, I love shrimps! Especially when its cooked with little butter...

I like seafood. Apparantly I've tried crab and octopus, but I don't remember. I like squid. It's awesome.
And fish is something I have at least once a week, regardless of how much I complain about how often I have it.

Why is it that people don't like much seafood?

Why is it that people LIKE seafood? It tastes horrible! It's like, BLAH! I can't even type/talk/think about seafood without my stomach hurting. Then again, different people have different tastes, so what more can I say? ^_^

I don't dislike seafood, but I'm soooo picky that I rarely eat it. But when I do eat it, I like crab legs, shark, clams and scallops and one og the restaurants in my hotel makes awesome crab cakes...

One of my absolute favourite dishes is: tuna steaks. I love tuna steaks, especially served with some rice and pancit. I love tuna!

I don't like seafood, but I haven't really had that much. I really wish I liked it, because it would be good to broaden my tastes, but the smell can really turn me off. The last thing I remember trying was shrimp, and I just didn't like the flavor. =\

Ow, common, looks like seafood is definetly underrated; Cause, for example, i don't know anyone that doesn't like smoked salmon (heavenly), or fish-sticks
