Default Disgaea: Hour of Darkness + Disgaea II

Has anyone else here had the pleasure of playing this wonderful piece of gaming magic? Very few games in the last few years have managed to really amaze and captivate me, and this is one of the few to have done so for me over the years.

It's ones of the best games ever made, d00d!

I heard about this stratedgy RPG hrough some American friends well over a year back, before it was released here in Europe, and I had noticed that it had recieved many good reviews from the more reliable gaming magazines, so I decided to take the dive and give it a try when it eventually came out. And since that day, it's completely consumed my life...

Play it now, or the love freak gets it!

Just completing the game doesn't take too long, a couple of weeks at most, but there is so much additional gameplay beyond the main story that it has the potential to go on forever! Honestly, I'm convinced that it trully is impossible to ever fully max out your party members....

I've been in love with this game for a very long time, and probably will be for a very long time to come, but I want to hear the opinions of everyone else here on this wonderful little game.

And now... a sequel is due out, as well an original anime! I assume I'm not the only person here who is looking forward to either of these... even though it's blatantly obvious that Nippon Ichi are now milking the franchise for all it's worth...

    Share your thoughts, d00d!

Sorry, I couldn't resist using these guys...

The day Disgaea II is released is the day I will vanish from civilized society, save for a few rare occassions when I crawl out on my weakened, atrophied limbs (courtesy of disuse) to scavenge for food before returning to the glowing embrace of the PS2 and the warmth and wonder that is Disgaea.

Yeah. It's a great game, definitely one of my favorites. I'm really happy tha the anime is finally out, it's also quite good.
