I have a ROM translation patch for a Japanese FF5 ROM and I haven't the foggiest how to attach it to the ROM. Does anyone have any idea how to do it.?

Rename the patch to exactly the same filename as the ROM image, and place them in the same folder/Zip file. Then just load the game.
I think I tried that and it didn't work. Do they have to be together in a separate folder?

Being together and being in different folders is contradictory, so obviously noWhat's the filename extensions of the two files, and what emulator are you using?
Uh, download an english FFV rom? It's not that hard. I have Italian, French, English and frickin' Swedish.
I'm using the Snes9x emulator and the file extrensions are .smc and .ips (I think).
I haven't been able to find an English FFV ROM.

Try www.nerologic.com - that definitely has one for FFV and other FFs to![]()
That's the one I'm using.
