Also in the same game, I believe it was before you pick who to keep in your party, there was this NPC (two of him) at the 'Frontsite', and one in Cid's room. (In the Lounge.) I couldn't talk to him, and he just stood there, doing nothing. He disappeared after the story progressed however. Just thought I'd tell ya that.
