Well if you do it right the Tentacle water creature is no problem (I've forgot it's name also) have Wakka use his darkness attack he'll hardly ever hit you and ALWAYS keep one of the smaller creatures alive otherwise all 4 come back.

Stock up on potions and take no chances if your having trouble.
