It's unhealthy to think that way, sometimes you just have to let newbies hatch at whatever form of development they are at, or at least that's what I was brought up to believe. I just think that if newbies want to express their distaste for the cocoon by leaving it prematurely, then let them. There are not many problems later in life if they leave prematurely, but they do, for whatever reason, develop a taste for shrimp in soy sauce.
