I really enjoyed the OVA. Tenchi in Tokyo was kinda boring, in my opinion. I've only seen the first few episodes of Tenchi Universe so far, but I intend to watch the rest some day. While I don't feel comfortable giving an opinion on it yet, I haven't enjoyed the first few eps as much as I enjoyed the beginning of the OVA.
