Have you ever heard a phrase that just makes you go WTF?
Last one I heard like that was
"Have you ever been so mad that you could just punch a baby?"
I have no idea why, but after hearing that I couldn't stop laughing at the oddity of that statement.

I used the phrase "fly by the seat of your pants" to my girlfriends uber-sheltered college roomate, and she stared at me like i was insane and/or babbling.
