OK, a lot of people said the MUSIC for FF5 on the PSX version is bogged down and some instruments are Omitted- But really, Is it THAT drastic of a difference? Does it change the mood? I'm just wondering or not to buy the collection with FF5 and 6 -

I've played the PSX version to the end of world 3 without noticing, so it can't be that bad.
You wont notice anything unless you are told to notice something :)

ive only ever played the anthologies version of FF5 and the music seems fine. FF5 hasn't got the best music but the big bride tune and the tune played whenever you fight gilgamesh is the best on the entire game.

And the World 3 music, which is just joy in a box. Second favourite world map music next to FF2's. However the town theme, the one with the kind of celtic theme has that ghastly "hoooooooooonnnnnkkkkkk" in it which makes my ears bleed.

I don't believe there is much discernible difference in the music between the two versions of FF5. I noticed the difference in musical quality between the two versions of FF6 a hell of a lot more.

FFVI and CT had much worse loading times on the PSX.

K, Thanks for all your feedback everyone - I've decided I'll be going out and buying Anthologies and playing FF 4, 5, and 6 on PSX - I've seen the load times, they are slightly annoying but I'll just deal with it - Thanks again!
