Default Windows XP/Hi Tech PC/ And FFVII???

I'm using Windows XP Sp2, my home built high tech pc and FFVII. I can not get this to run decently. I tried the windows xp patch for ff and that didn't work. It still looks like poop when I try running it :-(. Is there any way to get it to run like it did back in the day on my old pc?

yeah I had the same problem, not only would it run bad it would freeze on the chocabo raceing part. I patched it and got past the chocabo raceing part and then it would freeze when you take the tiny bronco.

make a new partition, or buy another hard drive and Install windows 95 or 98. That is the only way I could fix mine. Still doesn't look as good as the PS1 did.

The difference is that the TV you used to connect your PS1 to is blurry and of lower quality than a coputer monitor. In addition to that, you don't sit half a metre away from your TV screen. Connect your PC to a TV and you won't notice any difference.
