Precisely! I'm going to get it for that reason as well. I'm so happy that they are keeping the materia. The only thing I question is the quality of graphics on the PSP. My brother has one so I'll be using his but I just don't have a very good idea of it's capabilities yet.I cant wait for this.. ill pre order this as soon as possible!

Wow...i guess you should look into the PSP's capabilities cause THEY ARE AMAZING! way better than DS and any other handheld before it. Sweet! That is actually a huge relief, cos I have to be honest, graphics are a pretty important part of my my love for teh Final Fantasy xD
The day I get my hands on this game I'll be so happy. I've heard it's been getting some good reviews!
Not quite. Due to the small screen we can have low resolution textures and the fact that today there are so many tricks with texturing/normal mapping/bump mapping/etc. that it covers up a lot of the low-poly stuff.
That's not to say that they aren't any good. The stuff they can trick you with is amazing -- just look at God of War for PSP. It's incredible.
